CREATING PURE, WHOLESOME, FEEL-GOOD CONTENT IS ALL OUR MUM’S EVER WANTED FOR US.
So when Sydney agencies, The Precinct and One Green Bean, wanted to collaborate in capturing Amazon’s Random Acts of Kindness Day, we said sign us up! And to sweeten the deal, the delivery guy was the ever-talented Joel Creasey who joined us in helping give kindness to a bunch of very worthy and very unsuspecting legends across Victoria.
The campaign and production had two key phases. First up was the competition launch which was filmed at our Collingwood studio with Joel. To match our talent’s huge personality we kitted out the space with an endless avalanche of Amazon boxes (some real, some digitally added!). The competition received a significant number of compelling entries, but 5 lucky Victorians were ultimately chosen as the winners.
Which brings us to the second and final phase, where we spent the day travelling Metro and Greater Melbourne to deliver the very warranted (and welcomed) acts of kindness. As this shoot was all about coverage, multiple cameras were used from almost every possible angle to get the right shot. We pulled all the stops; drones, action cams, an exhausted boom pole swinger and two roaming camera operators with lenses fixed on those sweet sweet smiles of gratitude. All this allowed us to put the viewers there on the day and feel the genuine, unfiltered responses and interactions between Joel and our winners.
