It’s not often enough that we get to represent another artist’s work within our own, especially when that art form is inspired by the traditional owners of our land. So when Ausgrid approached us to do a profile piece on Yuwaalaraay woman Lucy Simpson, we were delighted. 

To celebrate a new beginning on a new site, Ausgrid commissioned Lucy to create a series of paintings which honoured both the land and their journey. In order to do both the art and the story justice, we wanted to mirror Lucy’s organic process by keeping the interview conversational within settings she felt most inspired and comfortable. The result was a beautifully told story which we hope inspires more companies to follow in Ausgrid’s footsteps!
