2020 GOLD TELLY AWARD WINNER: SOCIAL VIDEO, GENERAL – SOCIAL IMPACT.
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation came to us for an inspiring animation which explains what it’s like to live with Type 1 and why continued research funding is crucial to finding a cure. Each frame of the animation was meticulously hand drawn using JDRF’s colour palette. We flew to Canberra to meet and direct our Narrator Sophie, who lives with type 1. The film was screened in front of Federal Politicians and JDRF Advocates at the 2018 KIDS IN THE HOUSE event at Parliament House. We were incredibly pleased to hear that shortly afterwards, The Australian Labor Party pledged $50 million in vital funding, to help turn Type One into Type None.
