Meet Cute


A classic of cinema romance, the meet cute, where two individuals brought together by fate or happenstance find love. But this time around things aren’t the fairy tale you’ve come to expect. A case of mistaken identity brings together a woman meeting her drug dealer and a man looking for a sex worker. This chance encounter gives two broken people the opportunity to become whole.

Oscar Axel Thorborg

Oscar is an up and coming face in Melbourne’s film scene. In the last two years his films have screen at over a dozen film festivals around the world including; A Night of Horror, Scare-A-Con, Big Fandom, Horrorvison, as well as becoming semi-finalist in the Hollywood Screenings Film Festival and finalist in Melbourne’s biggest horror film festival Monster Fest. Oscar currently hangs his hat at Guerilla Creative as a cinematographer, editor, photographer and creative director.

Kristin Sargent
 Kristin is an award winning Australian producer, writer and actor. Her highest achievement was In 2015, Kristin was nominated for a New England Emmy for her short GO FISH. She has had many a short film win and screen at festivals internationally. She has recently sold a short form series to an Australian Broadcast Network, Channel Nine. She has worked extensively as a producer and production manager on TV commercials, music videos and online ad content for Guerilla Creative.

As an actor Kristin has recently worked on US series HUNTERS for the Syfy channel and has screened on many an Aussie drama including Neighbors, City Homicide and RUSH. As an actor she has worked in feature films, to TV and Online series including her produced series for Channel Nine, Method. Noted as a breath of fresh air to the industry she knows her stuff in-front and behind camera.

Jackson Tozer
 Jackson is a renowned Australian Actor with an extensive list of film and TV credits to his name.

His love of comedic roles has seen him play Myles in the Shaun Micallef sitcom The EX PM, and as a writer/cast member of the 2014 ABC sketch series THIS IS LITTLETON.

Jackson has appeared in several feature films including his most recent, 'Lazybones'. His most recent achievement is for Foxtel's crime drama series Mr Inbetween which also had it's premier at Sundance 2018. Jackson’s directorial debut was for the multi award winning short UBER X-Citing Day of which he won best screenplay at the 2016 Peninsula film festival.
