Interactive video is a game-changer. The viewer isn’t just along for the ride, they’re in the driver’s seat, and by handing over the control, you know you have their complete focus.

The tech can be used in a variety of ways. For story based experiences, users play out their own adventures. It’s easy to become invested when the decisions you make directly drive the narrative. Characters feel more real and the stakes seem higher.

Interactivity can also be used as a tool to educate, advertise or simply inspire. The applications are endless.

A PURPOSEFUL WORKPLACE

We teamed up with Schiavello to produce this beautiful interactive piece that showcases their vision for “A PURPOSEFUL WORKPLACE”.

Our role included modelling and modifying furniture pieces into an expansive isometric 3D workplace layout, bringing the space to life through elegant animation and styling, whilst rendering and editing multiple branching storylines into an intuitive, seamless user experience.

TALES FROM THE CIGGIE-VERSE

For The Koori Way’s interactive campaign to discourage indigenous youths from smoking and vaping, we created a Multiverse experience in which our character Sheeneeya could travel from different universes through portals and have conversations with herself. The tone is very fun and playful to keep the young viewers engaged, with educational information sprinkled lightly between moments of absurd humour.

VEMTC OPENING

In November 2021, the CFA opened its state-of-the-art training facility in Ballan, Vic.

To generate excitement around the new training centre, CFA engaged us to shoot a range of videos and develop an interactive tour.

We spent two days on location (geared up in CFA garb) witnessing impressive fire fighting training scenarios, a 4WD training track and speaking with key CFA stakeholders.

We began with a top down drone survey of the large facility to act as the map and interface for the experience. We then built animated elements around drone footage and edited repurposed video for each section of the tour.

MONASH ALUMNI

Monash’s interactive alumni experience gave prospective uni students an opportunity to have their questions answered by former Monash graduates.

Interactive video kept viewers engaged by finding the quickest path to the information that interested them the most.
